Urgency fuels Ezee Fiber’s expansion

Matt Marino, CEO of Ezee Fiber, discusses the company’s rapid growth on the latest Beyond the Cable episode, outlining how urgency and disciplined execution have shaped its multi-state expansion.

In a recent interview, Ezee Fiber Chief Executive Matt Marino explained that the company’s swift ascent has been driven by a deliberate sense of urgency and a steady cadence of small, well-informed decisions. He described the expansion as the result of a relentless focus on execution in a highly competitive and complex industry.

The provider’s footprint now stretches across parts of Texas, New Mexico, Illinois, Oregon, and Washington, with a common theme across markets being the delivery of multi-gigabit fiber services powered by Wi-Fi 7, paired with strong customer support at an attainable price point.

Near the Pacific Northwest’s growth push, Ezee Fiber announced plans to bring its fiber-to-the-premises network to Salem, Oregon, including the opening of a new office and a push to hire construction workers, installation technicians, sales and marketing staff, and community engagement personnel. The move follows the company’s recent Tachus Fiber acquisition in Washington state, which is expected to accelerate deployment in that region.

Separately, Ezee Fiber disclosed the acquisition of DayNet’s assets in Dayton, Texas, expanding its Texas presence and enabling faster customer installations in that market. Company officials anticipate installations in Salem to begin in the first half of this year.

Marino emphasized that Ezee Fiber’s growth is rooted in disciplined execution and a customer-centric philosophy often described as “operations 101.” He noted that the company’s strategy hinges on delivering multi-gig fiber, Wi‑Fi 7, and exceptional service at a price point that remains accessible as they scale across multiple states.
